• Managing Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end/year-end close activities.
• Conducting detailed account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining GL integrity.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and implementing controls to align with GAAP.
• Handling contract entry/reporting, and processing modifications with a firm grasp of billing and revenue implications.
• Overseeing the invoicing cycle for accuracy and timeliness, using various submission methods (WAWF, IPP, etc.).
• Collaborating with the CFO in financial forecasting and cash flow management.
• Supervising accounts payable and payroll operations, including vendor and credit card transactions, payroll taxes, and benefits.
• Developing, analyzing, and supporting cost proposals for government/commercial clients.
• Enhancing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilizing Excel for complex calculations.
