About the role
- A key initiative for this role is to lead the quality engineering strategy across all platforms (web, iOS, Android)
- Evolve our QA practice from manual testing to automation-first
- Establish scalable processes aligned with CI/CD and DevOps principles
- Lead a team of both manual and automation engineers
- Shape the performance, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS platform
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software quality management, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience leading quality initiatives in scaling SaaS organizations
- Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices (Cypress, Cucumber, Azure Devops Pipelines, Sorry Cypress Dashboard,BrowserStack, etc)
- Experience with AI automation tooling (Mabl, Rainforest QA, Leapwork, etc)
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of DevOps, shift-left testing, and quality gates
- Understanding of security testing, performance testing, and other specialized testing domain
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex quality concepts to executive leadership
- Experience growing QA teams into SDET-oriented organizations
- Proven track record of implementing quality improvements in fast-paced, high-frequency release environments
