About the role
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements under HGB (German Commercial Code) and support in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Point of contact for auditors, authorities, tax advisors and tax auditors
- Further development of processes within financial accounting
- Independent responsibility for internal projects
- Management of fixed assets
- Preparation of VAT returns (preliminary VAT filings)
- Management of claims handling in coordination with the insurance company
- Independent preparation of analyses and reports
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or university degree
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) desirable
- Willingness for personal development
- Confident user of common MS Office programs, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Diamant software is an advantage
- Structured, independent and responsible way of working
- Service orientation, flexibility, teamwork and openness to new topics
- Good German language skills
