About the role

  • Overall responsibility for managing the Paid Social team in their day-to-day responsibilities, including performance management and professional development plans for team members.
  • Mentor and train the Paid Social team, ensuring quality work is being delivered.
  • Establish and document processes for the effective delivery of the Paid Social function.
  • In collaboration with Senior Management, develop and manage an appropriate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) structure for the Paid Social team.
  • Assist your team in troubleshooting client issues.
  • Be the first level of escalation for client-related issues for the agency.
  • Lead the growth of the Paid Social division through innovation and results.
  • Distribute and manage client work appropriately across the Paid Social team.
  • Collaborate with other departments with regards to processes and policies that impact on or are impacted by the Paid Social function.
  • Prepare reporting and feedback for Senior Management on the department's performance to aid in the business decision making process.
  • Setup, manage and optimise campaigns in Facebook's Ads Manager.
  • Analysis of data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc.)
  • Write effective direct response ad copy that sells (don’t worry, we’ll teach you this).
  • Educate and keep Account Managers in the loop on our strategies and tactics.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse to identify opportunities within paid social for the benefit of both the agency and our clients.

Requirements

  • - Advanced knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager.
  • - Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • - Advanced knowledge with Google Tag Manager.
  • - Thorough knowledge of email marketing systems (InfusionSoft, MailChimp or similar).
  • - Experience writing Direct Response Copy is a HUGE PLUS.
  • - Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • - Be efficient, organised and task oriented.
  • - Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once.
  • - A positive and solution oriented attitude.
  • - Active participation in learning and development.
  • - Good grasp of Photoshop.
  • - Experience mentoring and supporting a team.
  • - Strong leadership ability.
  • - Excellent client escalation abilities.
