About the role
- Overall responsibility for managing the Paid Social team in their day-to-day responsibilities, including performance management and professional development plans for team members.
- Mentor and train the Paid Social team, ensuring quality work is being delivered.
- Establish and document processes for the effective delivery of the Paid Social function.
- In collaboration with Senior Management, develop and manage an appropriate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) structure for the Paid Social team.
- Assist your team in troubleshooting client issues.
- Be the first level of escalation for client-related issues for the agency.
- Lead the growth of the Paid Social division through innovation and results.
- Distribute and manage client work appropriately across the Paid Social team.
- Collaborate with other departments with regards to processes and policies that impact on or are impacted by the Paid Social function.
- Prepare reporting and feedback for Senior Management on the department's performance to aid in the business decision making process.
- Setup, manage and optimise campaigns in Facebook's Ads Manager.
- Analysis of data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc.)
- Write effective direct response ad copy that sells (don’t worry, we’ll teach you this).
- Educate and keep Account Managers in the loop on our strategies and tactics.
- Keep your finger on the pulse to identify opportunities within paid social for the benefit of both the agency and our clients.
Requirements
- - Advanced knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager.
- - Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
- - Advanced knowledge with Google Tag Manager.
- - Thorough knowledge of email marketing systems (InfusionSoft, MailChimp or similar).
- - Experience writing Direct Response Copy is a HUGE PLUS.
- - Excellent verbal & written communication.
- - Be efficient, organised and task oriented.
- - Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once.
- - A positive and solution oriented attitude.
- - Active participation in learning and development.
- - Good grasp of Photoshop.
- - Experience mentoring and supporting a team.
- - Strong leadership ability.
