About the role
- Prepare hydraulic networks designs following project’s scope
- Prepare the hydraulic models for the different hydraulic gravity networks
- Ensure all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements
- Coordinate and give technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models
- Prepare technical reports and other deliverables
- Coordinate with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design
- Work remotely as part of the Infrastructure team developing hydraulic designs for different projects and design stages
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- More than 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in the design of hydraulic infrastructures mainly in gravity networks
- Experienced in hydraulic design software such as EPANET, SWMM or other equivalent
- Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office
- Knowledge in BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D is an advantage
- Membership of a professional institution is desirable
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
- Portuguese language is an advantage
