About the role
- Provide flexible support across core services in wind farm analysis and wind turbine technology assessment
- Working closely with wind turbine OEMs and floating foundation designers for technology assessment
- Providing state of the art wind farm layout optimisations, energy yield analysis or wind farm wake analysis for developers
- Combine project management and engineering skills in offshore wind projects
- Collaborate with colleagues across the company to deliver successful outcomes
Requirements
- Completing or have recently completed your master’s or doctorate degree in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
- An understanding of wind turbine and wind farm technology and what influences energy yield, power performance and loads.
- Keenness to develop core skills in programming languages and packages such as Python, C#, and MATLAB.
- Strong familiarity in programming languages and packages such as Python / MATLAB
- Prior experience in delivering technical analysis in the offshore wind sector (desirable)
- An aptitude for communicating methods and results to specialists and non-specialists through writing high quality reports and presenting technical papers at conferences.
