About the role

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day billing operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Review invoices for completeness and accuracy and generate complex billing clients regular reporting
  • Act as a first point of escalation for complex or non-standard invoicing cases
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless billing processes
  • Develop and implement best practices to streamline billing procedures
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), client-specific billing instructions, and training materials
  • Train and mentor Billing Coordinator staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Prepare and analyze billing reports and provide insights to management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to billing and financial reporting
  • Provide supporting documentation for auditors

Requirements

  • Strong billing experience in a multi-client or multinational environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over invoice accuracy
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage workload independently and act as a mentor to junior team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively face to face or in writing and able to adapt your communication style relevant to the level
  • Ability to motivate oneself, other individuals (within the team and the wider K2 family) & the team
  • Effective organisation and delegation skills
  • Forward planning and strategic thinking, with the ability to realize objectives into fruition
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability and knowledge of mentoring, to bring the best out in individuals
  • Knowledge of credit control
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to change and works well under pressure.
  • Experience in the complex billing environments with global operations.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
