About the role

  • Responsibility for multiple procurement segments in the areas of steel construction, conveyor technology and other technologies
  • Coordination of purchasing activities within the segments and their strategic alignment
  • Active assurance of end-to-end material supply
  • Obtaining quotes from domestic and international suppliers
  • Negotiation of prices and delivery terms with national and international suppliers
  • Drafting and structuring required contracts
  • Collaboration with sales and project teams to expand the supplier base and responsibility for the supplier onboarding process
  • Continuous improvement of processes in the area in collaboration with the team

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial and/or technical degree
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Good technical understanding as well as a strong cost- and quality-conscious mindset
  • Confident appearance, strong communication skills, a team-oriented working style, carefulness and reliability
  • Confident use of MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Fluent German; English skills are a plus
