About the role

  • You develop modern, high-performance applications with GUI, middleware, and backend components in a service-oriented architecture.
  • Together with your agile team, you implement tailored solutions based on Java, Spring, and React.
  • You accompany the entire project lifecycle — from conception and design to implementation and testing.
  • Quality matters to you: through code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests you ensure our software remains stable and future-proof.
  • You analyze existing applications, identify weaknesses, and provide sustainable bug fixes.
  • You continuously optimize existing systems and bring them up to date — both technically and functionally.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in software development.
  • Practical experience with various software development models, especially in an agile environment.
  • Competence in solution design and translating complex requirements into technical solutions.
  • Confident use of common development tools and testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring, or JavaScript (React preferred).
  • Practical experience with middleware technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ), REST APIs, and relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with code-assistance systems and/or coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment processes.
  • Advantageous (not required): know-how in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of XML processing or authentication methods such as OIDC or SAML.
  • Interest in innovative technologies and actively following current IT trends.
  • Business-fluent German and good English.
