About the role
- Assist the Business Managers in preparing cost estimates
- Study and optimize technical manufacturing solutions
- Define and document manufacturing operations (production routings)
- Identify tooling requirements
- Prepare work sites
- Consult suppliers
- Provide technical follow-up for work performed
- Inspect completed work before it leaves the workshop
- Order and receive parts
- Ensure replenishment of the stockroom
- Contribute to the development of project scheduling
- Participate in cost estimation
Requirements
- Vocational qualification (Bac to Bac+2 or equivalent) in boilermaking/metal fabrication in an industrial environment
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role
- Proficient with MS Office, with strong Excel skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings/blueprints
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor is an asset
