About the role
- Holistic and professional nursing care of critically ill patients in an intensive care unit
- Monitoring, operation and interpretation of intensive care equipment (e.g., ventilators, monitoring systems, infusion and perfusion technology)
- Collaboration with physicians, therapists and other professional groups within a multiprofessional team
- Participation in emergency situations, resuscitation and crisis interventions
- Involvement in nursing and medical rounds
- Nursing documentation according to current standards
- Compliance with and further development of hygiene and quality guidelines
Requirements
- Completed training as a Registered Nurse (e.g., general nurse / health and nursing nurse) (m/f/d)
- Preferably additional specialist qualification in intensive care and anesthesia nursing (often willingness to undertake further training is accepted)
- Professional and social competence, resilience, and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
