About the role
- Work with our clients on sourcing, procurement, category management, spend management, and spend analytics projects.
- Support workstreams within various client projects, performing tasks such as operational, procurement, and spend assessments.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews.
- Engage in modeling and analytics.
- Complete report writing.
- Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Conduct market and supplier research.
- Develop and manage RFx processes, including evaluation.
- Engage in negotiations.
- Support internal firm-building initiatives such as benchmarking, client research, white paper research and development, proposal development, and other internal projects.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of previous supply chain, procurement, or consulting experience with a Fortune 1,000 company.
- Recent graduates with relevant (e.g., Procurement / Supply Chain) degrees or internship experience will be considered.
- Strong analytic skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis (advanced Excel).
- Ability to work creatively and quantitatively in a fast-paced, problem-solving team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including formal presentation development and delivery skills, and strong interpersonal skills, enabling.
- The ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization and client stakeholders.
- Adaptability to engage, cultivate relationships, and communicate with clients and colleagues of varied corporate cultures and organizational structures.
- Self-starter and critical thinker with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Procure-To-Pay platform experience (Ariba, Coupa, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Must have the ability to travel to client sites on an as-needed basis.
