About the role
- Advise and sell products in the optical area
- Perform eye examinations and equipment checks
- Manage customer adaptation issues (e.g., poor fit or prescription adjustments)
- Maintain product assortment and ensure compliance with merchandising standards
- Actively support sales by maintaining a continuous presence on the sales floor while co-leading the sales team in organizing daily work
- Ensure implementation of the brand's commercial policy and trade plan
- Ensure the quality of displays, showcased products, demonstrations, signage, labeling and cleanliness
- Clearly present promotional operations to customers through effective communication
- Co-manage the profit center
- Contribute to improving results and achieving targets
- Conduct weekly actions to address stockouts and overstocks
- Perform daily follow-up on customer files: pending insurance authorizations, deliveries and after-sales service (SAV)
- Adapt the department to customer expectations
- Process price checks to ensure good profitability
- Ensure accuracy of selling prices
- Prepare and participate in inventory
- Ensure compliance with markdown handling conditions (repackaging, relotting, return conditions for after-sales service...)
Requirements
- BTS Opticien-Lunetier, University degree in Optics, or Professional Optics Certificate (Brevet Professionnel Optique)
- Demonstrates commercial responsiveness by making decisions to adapt the department to customer needs
- Proficient with ordering, receiving, stock management and point-of-sale systems
- Skilled in conducting eye examinations
- Skilled in lens mounting and refitting
- Understands and monitors the economic indicators for their department
