About the role

  • Generating and qualifying sales leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.
  • Execute targeted campaigns to identify the needs of prospects and schedule introductory meetings.
  • Research and build prospect lists, focusing on key accounts and contacts.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce and forecast opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a territory plan to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Represent Iron Edge Group at local events and associations, advancing opportunities from initial contact to the proposal stage.
  • Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual signing targets, ensuring contracts align with commercial goals.
  • Drive pipeline activity and annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth.
  • Utilize product knowledge to align solutions with client needs, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and efficient product distribution.

Requirements

  • College degree or a minimum of three years of sales experience in outside sales, selling technology services and products
  • Experience using Salesforce.com for managing leads, activity, and pipeline
  • Strong selling, presentation, and closing skills with passion and proven ability to prospect and close business
  • All positions require the successful completion of a criminal background check and further background checks if the position involves access to sensitive information or secure facilities.
  • This position requires travel to different locations, which requires a valid driver’s license, intermittent DMV checks, and a reliable personal vehicle.
