About the role
- Collaboration on concept development and system design of electronic and electromechanical assemblies/interfaces
- Analysis of requirements
- Design of electronic circuits (schematics)
- PCB/PCBA layout design
- Specification of cables and components
- Technical contact for suppliers
- Collaboration with internal and external development partners
- Technical support for prototype assembly and commissioning
- Contribution to documentation and design reviews
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards
Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in embedded hardware development
- Proficient in schematic and PCB/PCBA design (Altium Designer)
- Strong knowledge in the development of microcontroller-based systems including power supplies
- Experience with circuit simulation (e.g., LTSpice, PSpice, Multisim, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Excellent understanding of analog and digital circuits
- Demonstrable expertise in EMI/EMC design techniques
- Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience debugging with a variety of laboratory measurement instruments
- Very good German and English skills (at least B2)
