About the role
- Communicate with customers during the design and build of their website and make sure they stay on track to reach their goal go-live date
- Manage multiple customer projects at any given time and serve as a point of contact for your customers throughout the development of their website
- Serve as a liaison between the Implementation team and other teams within the Website Development department
- Educate the customer on website and digital marketing standards and best practices
- Develop specifications for the overall design and content of the customer’s website based on the needs of the specific business and communicate that information to the development team
- Coordinate with the development team to deliver a quality product to the customer
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and an interest in working directly with customers via telephone, email, and video conferencing
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on business and professional writing
- Strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written and oral form
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations without standard solutions
- Ability to work in conjunction with other internal departments to achieve goals
- Must be comfortable keeping the client within specifications for the product
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc
- Basic knowledge of website trends and best practices
- Interest in Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Design or Project Management
- Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, digital and email marketing
- Domain/DNS knowledge (Bonus Skills)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and using a Content Management System (CMS) (Bonus Skills)
- Basic project management skills (Bonus Skills)
- Working knowledge of website analytics (Bonus Skills)
