About the role

  • Data Collection and Integration: Collaborate with internal teams to gather data from multiple systems and platforms. Develop processes to ensure accurate and timely data collection and integration. Implement data quality checks to maintain integrity across all datasets.
  • Dashboard Development and Management: Design and create a centralized dashboard to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Customize dashboard layouts and features based on the specific needs of the executive committee. Continuously update and optimize the dashboard to reflect the most relevant and up-to-date information.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Interpret findings to provide actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making. Present analysis results in a clear and concise manner to executive stakeholders.
  • Automated Reporting by Function: Develop automated reporting processes to streamline the generation and distribution of reports by function. Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Integrate reporting tools with existing systems and platforms to facilitate seamless data flow. Monitor and troubleshoot automated reporting processes to ensure reliability and accuracy. Provide actionable insights to the executive committee, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and business growth through in-depth data analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and validate data sources. Conduct training sessions and provide support to users on how to effectively utilize dashboards and reports. Act as a subject matter expert on data visualization best practices and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the dashboard (ie Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra for handling unstructured or semi-structured data.
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring and security tools for data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages for automating reporting processes, such as: Python (with libraries like Pandas, xlrd, openpyxl) for data manipulation and Excel automation; Cron jobs or Task Scheduler for scheduling automated tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
