About the role

  • Supervise daily operations of the collections team
  • Manage the collections process, including reminders, follow-ups, and payment arrangements.
  • Monitor ageing reports and initiate collection actions to minimize bad debt
  • Oversee the timely and accurate allocation of incoming payments
  • Support monthly and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's AR and collections policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Handle escalated customer issues, resolve disputes with professionalism and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Manage collections for customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and strong communication.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to manage key accounts and handle challenging customer interactions professionally.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of customer credit evaluation, collection and legal procedures.
  • Leadership ability and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with process improvement or AR automation initiatives.
