About the role
- Lead and coordinate strategic communications that help customers understand the value of water and support sustainable water use across the region.
- Develop and deliver integrated campaigns, particularly those focused on water efficiency, resource resilience, behaviour change and community engagement.
- Champion brand consistency and ensure all messaging aligns with our environmental priorities and long-term resource management goals.
- Build strong relationships with operational water teams, behavioural science specialists, and external agencies to deliver high-quality, insight-driven campaigns.
- Apply data and insight from customer research to water-usage analytics to optimise campaign performance and identify opportunities to drive measurable water-saving outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree (or equivalent experience) and significant experience in marketing and campaign management.
- A background in the water industry, water resource management, or sustainability, particularly delivering water efficiency or customer behaviour-change campaigns.
- Experience working strategically within complex, matrix organisations.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create compelling, audience-driven content across multiple formats.
- Confidence managing senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using insight, data and performance analytics to track campaign impact and drive continuous improvement, ideally with an understanding of water consumption metrics or resource-use behaviours.
