About the role
- Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
- Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets
- Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts
- Order replacement parts and services in efficient and effective manner
Requirements
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs
- Ability to perform startup and commissioning on large genset units
- Must be able to drive occasionally
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform lengthy standing/walking duties
