About the role
- Define and own the process -- establish scope, objectives, and performance metrics
- Design and document end-to-end process workflows, roles, and responsibilities
- Monitor process performance using KPIs and dashboards; identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., business units, IT, quality, compliance) to ensure process alignment and integration
- Manage process changes, including communication, training, and documentation updates
- Facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective action planning for process issues
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned process(es)
- Report on process performance and improvement initiatives to leadership
Requirements
- 5-10 years of process improvement experience managing or improving business processes
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven success where transformation or change initiatives are long lived / sustainable in the desired changes and impact
- Certification in or practical experience with process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
- Proficiency in Process documentation tools such as Visio
