- **The Mission of the Senior Sales Engineer**Enable ICEYE to win mission opportunities by defining, validating, and clearly communicating tailored technical solutions to prospective customers.
- This role exists to bridge customer mission needs with ICEYE’s technical capabilities — ensuring every proposal, concept, and analysis is accurate, credible, and compelling. You will work at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, shaping EO mission concepts and supporting customer engagements from early discussions through final proposals.
Requirements

- **Outcomes:**
- - **Deliver high-quality technical proposals** for mission opportunities, including complete, accurate responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- - **Run and integrate mission analyses and simulations** (coverage studies, payload performance scenarios, feasibility checks) to validate solutions.
- - **Provide timely technical support to Missions Sales** throughout the sales cycle, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling solution narratives.
- - **Strengthen customer engagement** through well-structured technical presentations, clear communication, and professional handling of clarifications.
- - **Be recognized as a reliable contributor** within the Missions Sales Engineering team, enabling ICEYE to win critical global mission opportunities.
- **Role-Specific Competencies:**
- **Technical / Domain Competence**
- - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- - 0–4 years of experience in sales engineering, mission analysis, systems engineering, or related technical roles.
- - Hands-on experience with STK, Savoir, or similar mission/systems-level modelling tools (strong plus).
- - Understanding of satellite systems, EO missions, and space mission architectures.
- - Ability to interpret technical requirements and develop structured, feasible mission concepts.
- - Comfortable analysing technical inputs and presenting results clearly.
- **Skills and Attributes:**
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- - Strong customer focus, with the ability to translate needs into technical solutions.
- - High attention to detail, structured thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
- - Proactive, curious, accountable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced global environment.

- - Willingness to travel regularly (20–30%).
