About the role

  • Design, develop, and implement custom business applications using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Integrate solutions with multiple backend data sources such as SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Automate workflows and business processes by building robust Power Automate flows to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including solution architecture, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Power Platform solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, and governance standards within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Provide technical support, training, and knowledge transfer to end users and client teams as needed.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Proven ability to connect and manipulate data from SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with Office 365 ecosystem and Microsoft Teams integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently as a consultant, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
  • Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor in the United States.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate AI-driven capabilities within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience in utilizing Copilot for advanced document generation, workflow automation, and providing intelligent assistance to users is highly desirable.
  • Experience with advanced Power Platform features such as custom connectors, Power Virtual Agents, or AI Builder.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integration with third-party services.
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other cloud-based automation tools.
  • Background in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices for Power Platform solutions.
  • Previous consulting experience or experience working with multiple clients/projects simultaneously.
