About the role
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and participate in audits; document findings and mitigation steps
- Respond to privacy requests for proposals (RFPs) privacy questions and data subject requests
- Implement new privacy laws and processes; escalates complex issues to senior staff
- Lead privacy awareness training in the organization
- Partner with stakeholders to address privacy requests escalating complex issues to senior team members or leadership
- Monitor adherence to data protection laws
- Evaluate vendor privacy practices and assist in completing vendor risk assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2–4 years of privacy or related compliance experience
- CIPP
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
- Good organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
- Good collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good data gathering interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills
- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of systems administration
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA
