About the role

  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and participate in audits; document findings and mitigation steps
  • Respond to privacy requests for proposals (RFPs) privacy questions and data subject requests
  • Implement new privacy laws and processes; escalates complex issues to senior staff
  • Lead privacy awareness training in the organization
  • Partner with stakeholders to address privacy requests escalating complex issues to senior team members or leadership
  • Monitor adherence to data protection laws
  • Evaluate vendor privacy practices and assist in completing vendor risk assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2–4 years of privacy or related compliance experience
  • CIPP
  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
  • Good organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Good collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Good data gathering interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of systems administration
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA
