About the role

  • develop and maintain relationships with small and medium-sized accounts
  • focus on personal sales targets and troubleshoot specific customer problems
  • meet targets through cultivation of new client relationships and development of productive relationships with existing clients
  • prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor
  • participate in special projects/programs such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the company
  • maximize revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets
  • locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners
  • support partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities
  • begin to influence department’s strategy

Requirements

  • active GA resident Health insurance license OR willing AND able to obtain one within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years of experience in the Medicare industry
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build and maintain relationships with communities and medical providers
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Prior sales experience
  • Prior experience with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps
  • knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • approximately 75% or more travel with some overnight stays
  • clear and valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
