About the role
- Create, execute, develop, and maintain digital design elements across multiple platforms.
- Lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and human-centered digital experiences for senior populations and care teams.
- Partner with product managers, developers, researchers, and stakeholders to craft functional and empathetic solutions.
- Audit and analyze digital product experiences, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create diagrams, models, or low-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate concepts and ideas.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and accessibility audits to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG compliance), inclusive design, and usability best practices.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web and mobile platforms.
- Experience designing for healthcare, senior populations, or other accessibility-sensitive domains.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), usability heuristics, and responsive design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present design rationale to stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or Lean environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
