About the role
- Conduct detailed diagnostics of municipal and state healthcare networks and financing across all levels of care, with emphasis on secondary and tertiary care.
- Participate in the design and modeling of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for healthcare facilities.
- Assist in implementing, adapting, and innovating policies to local contexts to reduce gaps in care and to qualify and expand health policies and the SUS network in municipalities and states.
- Ensure project execution in accordance with contractual terms and targets established with each client.
- Actively participate in compliance verification processes during the execution of contracts between public authorities and private entities.
- Research and validate reports from health information systems as required.
- Ensure the adequacy and efficiency of collected and processed data so it accurately reflects the performance of each health service.
- Monitor the implementation and execution of contracts, proposing standardizations and improvements to necessary procedures.
- Regularly review project progress against the schedule and work plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a health-related field.
- Specialization or postgraduate training in Health Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, or Hospital Infection Control.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in emergency, urgent care, and hospital networks within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
- Experience in healthcare management projects and continuous improvement of care processes and referral systems.
- Deep understanding of the Brazilian health system, including SUS and other types of healthcare organizations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with experience delivering training.
- Ability to produce workflows, processes, and complex reports.
- Strong institutional coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Desirable experience with Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and/or involvement of Third Sector organizations in hospital management.
- Familiarity with health information platforms and systems is desirable.
- Experience in budgetary and financial execution within the SUS.
- Experience in modeling is desirable.
- Experience in sizing/staffing teams and equipment, and preparing technical specifications.
