About the role
- Acting as a supporting leader for individual contributors (Software engineers) in one or more small teams.
- Responsible for supporting the education and vision of the individuals in a team to align their direction and drive performance and outcomes.
- Foster and advocate for Lean-Agile ways of working.

- Providing regular reporting and metrics to the Director of Development to enable effective decision-making.
- Collaborating with the Director of Development, your peers and the Principal Engineer to align technical and product strategies.
- Overseeing the technical and architectural design processes.
- Overseeing the technical strategy implementation.
- Tracking the system performance according to Non-Functional requirements and ensuring adherence.
- Leading internal functional and cross-functional projects to optimize the development process.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership position (Team Lead or Engineering Manager).
- Experience in people management and leading remote, cross-functional teams.
- Good Understanding of software development processes, including frontend and backend development, software testing, and CI/CD.
- Designing and implementing software solutions.
- Good understanding of the principles of building a reliable architecture.
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced level of English.
