About the role

  • Manage sustainability R&D projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate environmental goals and industry best practices
  • Support the development of carbon footprint reduction strategies, material efficiency improvements, and energy-saving initiatives
  • Support comparative assessments of products and processes to identify sustainability improvements
  • Ensure adherence to global and regional environmental regulations
  • Oversee the collection and management of sustainability-related data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Support Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and carbon footprint analysis by collaborating with specialists
  • Develop R&D sustainability technical reports, presentations, and performance dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, operations, and corporate sustainability teams to drive sustainability integration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sustainability project management, preferably in the transformers, electrical equipment, or heavy manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, drive sustainability initiatives, and engage stakeholders
  • Develop technical reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex environmental impact data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work closely with large and complex remote teams and in a multi-country & -cultural environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, fluent in English
