About the role
- Manage sustainability R&D projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate environmental goals and industry best practices
- Support the development of carbon footprint reduction strategies, material efficiency improvements, and energy-saving initiatives
- Support comparative assessments of products and processes to identify sustainability improvements
- Ensure adherence to global and regional environmental regulations
- Oversee the collection and management of sustainability-related data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and carbon footprint analysis by collaborating with specialists
- Develop R&D sustainability technical reports, presentations, and performance dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, operations, and corporate sustainability teams to drive sustainability integration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in sustainability project management, preferably in the transformers, electrical equipment, or heavy manufacturing industry
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, drive sustainability initiatives, and engage stakeholders
- Develop technical reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex environmental impact data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to work closely with large and complex remote teams and in a multi-country & -cultural environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills, fluent in English
