About the role
- Fully own the financials for multiple business lines — building, maintaining, and refining revenue and contribution margin forecasts with precision and insight.
- Act as the key finance owner for new category launches, partnering cross-functionally to model scenarios, assess investment returns, and ensure financial readiness for go-to-market success.
- Support the growth of our rapidly evolving Weight Loss category, driving strategic and financial alignment across marketing, operations, and product to optimize performance and unit economics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Category Directors, delivering clear, data-driven insights that influence both short-term actions and long-term strategy.
- Own customer lifetime value (LTV) models and be the subject matter expert on unit economics — guiding leadership’s understanding of profitability levers and sustainable growth.
- Develop frameworks and financial models to evaluate the size, impact, and prioritization of competing initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-value opportunities.
- Regularly build complex Excel/Google Sheets models from scratch to answer critical business questions and support executive decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to set, test, and optimize pricing strategies that balance customer growth and profitability.
- Define and operationalize key KPIs, building automated reporting and scorecards that improve visibility and accountability across teams.
- Lead ad hoc analyses, board materials, and strategic projects that shape the company’s financial and operational direction.
- Contribute to the annual, quarterly, and monthly planning cycles, ensuring forecasts reflect evolving business dynamics and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- B.S. in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in analytical financial roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, and/or consulting
- The ability to manipulate large datasets is required.
- Prior SQL or Looker experience is a plus
- Strategic thinker who is intellectually curious
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask
