About the role

  • System administration: deployment, configuration and maintenance of Linux-based systems
  • Networks: configuration and commissioning of VPN solutions
  • Fault analysis: support in optimizing network and system performance
  • Customer support: collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and implement technical solutions
  • Documentation: maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related field or comparable qualification — career changers with relevant professional experience welcome
  • Solid knowledge of Linux administration and experience configuring VPN tunnels (e.g., OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard)
  • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python or a comparable language for scripting and automation
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Good German and English language skills
