About the role
- Manage a team of business systems developers from third party integrators
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Oversee the development lifecycle for business systems projects, including Salesforce.com and Workday
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality business solutions
- Implement best practices for business systems development and integration
- Drive adoption of modern tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, CI/CD)
- Collaborate with the Technical Systems Architect to guide architecture and design decisions for Salesforce.com and Workday
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams
- Align business systems initiatives with enterprise goals
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity
- Resolve technical and team-related issues
- Manage implementation partner relationships
- Keep abreast of new integration and data tools and technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve support issues as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise application development or support
- 2+ years in leading software development teams
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com and Workday
- Deep knowledge of Business Systems and Business Processes across domains (Financial, HCM, and CRM)
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of business models and business processes
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Working knowledge of integration tools- Informatica, dbt (preferred) or Mulesoft, TibCo
- Preferred Certifications Workday Pro Certification, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
