About the role

  • Contribute to the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems
  • Create and refine construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform calculations for load analysis, circuiting, and lighting layouts
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
  • Apply codes and standards (NEC, IBC, IECC, etc.) to ensure compliance and safety
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas that make a real impact
  • Learn from experienced professionals while taking ownership of your work

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in electrical design (internships, co-ops, or full-time roles)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  • A solid foundation in electrical systems and a desire to keep learning
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • A passion for solving problems and creating smart, efficient designs
  • Experience with commercial or retail projects (Bonus)
  • Knowledge of lighting design software (AGi32, Dialux) (Bonus)
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup tools (Bonus)
