About the role
- Lead the hands-on investigation, triage, and response to security incidents and threat attempts;
- Drive development and execution of cybersecurity projects and mitigation plans;
- Enhance cybersecurity observability, refining tools and processes to counter threats;
- Serve as first line responder during incident response activities;
- Organize and manage interdependencies between security initiatives and technology areas;
- Develop, update, and maintain automations to accelerate security ticket management;
- Inspire and empower others to prioritize wellbeing and create a supportive environment.
Requirements
- BSc. degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, or related area;
- Strong experience with AWS, with a track record of deploying medium to large-scale projects;
- Detect, analyze and clarify hacking attempts, security incidents, and alerts from our monitoring stack;
- Experience with SIEM and monitoring alarms, indicators of compromise, and use cases;
- Programming languages for automations;
- Discuss security challenges and improvements with security engineers and colleagues;
- Proactively solve and prevent incidents, presenting findings to leadership;
- High level of threat intelligence initiatives.
- Ability to identify, manage and communicate with project stakeholders;
- Understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices;
- Knowledge of information security certifications (PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC II, etc.);
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
