About the role

  • Guidehouse’s Health IT Solutions team works with clients to measurably improve their technology outcomes through a mix of IT strategies, improvement in IT operations, and adoption of technology initiatives.
  • The Technical Lead will serve as the senior technical authority for the client's Oracle Health (Cerner) Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation.
  • This role will oversee all technical workstreams including system architecture, interoperability, interface development, device integration, infrastructure readiness, and cutover planning.
  • The Technical Lead will collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and vendor teams to ensure the successful deployment of Oracle Health Millennium and RevElate platforms across state/federal health systems, correctional health facilities, and affiliated sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale EHR implementations, including at least 3 Oracle Health (Cerner) projects.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Health Millennium and RevElate platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in EMPI design and deployment, including external vendor coordination and internal match queue strategies.
  • Deep expertise in HL7/FHIR standards, interface engines (e.g., Cloverleaf, Rhapsody), and device integration (e.g., CareAware iBus).
  • Experience integrating and transitioning from MEDITECH environments, including interface reconciliation and data harmonization.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including centralized distribution centers and PharmNet workflows.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health and long-term care workflows and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments (preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
