About the role

  • The Senior Data Scientist will deliver technical expertise and hands-on support, focusing on advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for data cleaning, transformation, modeling, and automation.
  • Implement data science solutions, including statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • Support data integration, cleansing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Develop dashboards and visualization tools for executive reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Apply CRISP-DM and Agile Kanban methodologies for iterative delivery.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in data science.
  • Contribute to data culture and education initiatives, including playbooks, quick guides, and training sessions.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in data science roles with demonstrated technical depth
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development, including experience with relevant libraries and cloud environments
  • Proficiency in R, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and analytics methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business audiences
  • Familiarity with federal data standards and compliance frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
