About the role

  • Orchestrate and drive complex technology programs to completion, ensuring all projects strategically align with and contribute to business objectives and a cohesive vision.
  • Oversee and coordinate dependencies across multiple related projects within a program to ensure integrated and timely delivery.
  • Articulate the impact of company-level priority changes on program scope, timeline, and objectives, while providing critical data to inform strategic prioritization decisions and understanding how resource shifts affect the program's ability to deliver.
  • Own, maintain, and proactively manage the program's risk register, escalating risks as needed to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary communicator for program status, progress, and key metrics.
  • Define, establish, and continuously improve Scrum methodologies, tools, and best practices across the tech organization.
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of Scrum Masters across various initiatives, ensuring optimal team structure and capacity.
  • Monitor the health and progress of individual projects within the portfolio, identifying and addressing tactical roadblocks or adherence issues.
  • Provide stakeholders with necessary metrics for reporting on overall program health and individual project status, including dashboards created with tools like EazyBi.
  • Lead, mentor, and hold the Scrum Master team accountable for team performance, day-to-day operations, and professional growth.
  • Solidify the Scrum Master's ceremonies, core responsibilities, and overall working methods to ensure consistency and efficiency, while providing guidance and coaching to help Scrum Masters navigate challenges and growth in their careers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management within a technology-focused environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of project managers, scrum masters, or similar agile roles.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering large-scale, complex technology programs.
  • Proven experience leading teams across a complex, multi-functional technology organization.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate priority discussions and articulate the impact of changes.
  • Experience with JIRA for project tracking.
  • Experience with EazyBi for reporting and business intelligence.
  • Familiar with tools like Lucid for documentation and diagrams.
