Systems Engineer

• Build, maintain, and scale Groupon’s central design system (production-ready React components, tokens, and documentation)
• Create and optimize reusable React components using Tailwind CSS and Storybook
• Champion UI consistency, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and quality across products without acting as design police
• Collaborate closely with designers (Figma), frontend engineers, QA, and PMs to deliver a unified UI vision
• Drive adoption of the design system across multiple teams
• Conduct UI audits and ship quick wins; deliver core components and increase adoption and conversion metrics (Month 1/3/6 milestones)
