About the role
- Direct end-to-end project management for large-scale initiatives within the transmission and utility sectors.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations and industry standards.
- Oversee project P&L to ensure financial accountability and successful operational outcomes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customer project leads and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparent, proactive communication.
- Facilitate high-level discussions to map customer requirements against industry best practices and GridUnity’s innovative product solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert by analyzing customer challenges and aligning scalable, efficient solutions.
- Integrate agile methodologies and proven project management standards to drive continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to investigate issues, determine root causes, and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that values both individual contributions and collective success.
- Champion initiatives to refine and optimize project management processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in the utility or energy sector.
- Proven success managing major, complex projects with measurable results.
- Expertise in agile methodologies and a solid understanding of industry best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
