About the role
- Liaison between Project Management teams and Accounting Department
- Assist in monthly analysis of each project’s current financial position
- Communicate Red File Financial update monthly
- Prepare month-end Work in Progress schedule
- Review project contract and projected cost
- Manage Revenue Recognition 606 Policy
- Responsible for Financial Statement Review of Subcontractor Financial Statements
- Coordinate job cost audits and project-specific cost reporting requirements
- Review customer contracts to ensure proper recording of project costs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
- Ideal candidates will have experience with construction and percent complete method of accounting.
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, complex Excel spreadsheets, and e-mail applications.
- CMIC experience or other construction cloud-based software knowledge a plus.
- High level of analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.
- High degree of professional integrity and strong commitment to shared success.
