About the role
- Loading machines across all machine groups
- Inserting parts into fixtures, clamping if required
- Initiating automatic machining processes
- Processing parts and components according to clear instructions using straightforward tools and techniques
- Reporting malfunctions
- Stopping machine operation in clearly defined cases
- Performing repetitive inspections on different workpieces according to clear inspection procedures using specified testing equipment
- Setting up inspection equipment and conducting dimensional checks and measurements according to regulations
- Evaluating test results according to guidelines (report deviations following the prescribed procedure)
- Covering breaks for colleagues
- Assuming assigned mentorship/buddy responsibilities
- Observing and maintaining order and cleanliness at the workplace
