• Oversee teacher and teacher leader professionalism and disciplinary matters
• Review complaints against Alberta's teacher and teacher leaders
• Oversee preliminary inquiry and assessment, and review investigation and resolution reports
• Prepare decision recommendations to the Commissioner
• Support the Commissioner in complainant appeals and hearings
• Lead strategic and operational development of the ATPC
• Guide annual operational planning, strategic initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting
• Establish goals and priorities to deliver results consistent with government direction, policy, legislation, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with education stakeholders regarding matters of discipline
