About the role

  • Grow Givaudan Fine Fragrance business in Philippines with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines which includes growing customer relationships and monitoring customer and competitor activity and staying on top of these developments.
  • Build engagement with local customers and support our development and perfumery team and work with the regional team to develop the Fragrance segment.
  • Define account, segment strategy, needs, targets, and priorities to win business which includes identifying and creating opportunities for us to participate in targeted briefs.
  • Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations.
  • Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission.
  • Coordinate with other teams to support customer priorities, ensuring the most efficient management of Givaudan resources.
  • Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production.
  • Follow goals versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate) and take corrective actions if necessary.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines.
  • Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget for main accounts.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience within the Fragrance industry.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record in building a pipeline of fragrance-related projects, including securing new business and leading project execution.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and business development.
  • Solid understanding of consumer and market trends in the fragrance sector.
  • Genuine passion for Fine Fragrance.
  • Skill in determining fragrance notes upon smelling and evaluation would be beneficial.
  • Candidates from the fragrance industry, retail (managing FF portfolios), or B2B sales will be prioritized.
