About the role
- You plan and manage the product lifecycle of our sensors for high-speed single-note inspection systems (M/X segment) together with Product Management and R&D departments
- You serve as the technical link between Product Management and the specialist areas of sensing, mechatronics, electronics, software and our service organizations
- You support the creation of technical system specifications (service bulletins) and integration strategies within the sensor domain
- You moderate and lead interdisciplinary systems-engineering teams
- As head of the Sensor PCB (Product Control Board) you coordinate product maintenance, further development and troubleshooting of sensor hardware in the M/X segment
- You provide input for budget planning and roadmap definition for sensor platforms
- You present technical solutions to internal stakeholders
- Within agile development processes you support the design of innovative concepts
Requirements
- You hold a degree in engineering, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or have comparable experience
- You are familiar with agile development processes, preferably Scaled Agile Framework and Scrum
- You demonstrate analytical, solution-oriented thinking with a strong customer focus
- You show a high degree of assertiveness and pronounced coordination skills in consistently pursuing and implementing system changes
- You have excellent communication skills, good German and English language skills, and are prepared for intercultural collaboration
- You are willing to travel occasionally, including internationally
