About the role
- Line and functional management of approximately 8 employees
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of resources (personnel, materials, time) to efficiently implement customer requirements, change requests and new projects
- Responsibility for the continuous improvement and development of production processes, standards and technologies with a focus on quality, efficiency, cost, sustainability and digitalization
- Implementation of artificial intelligence in the production environment as part of the company’s digitalization strategy
- Support and further development of the software and tooling landscape in coordination with IT, as well as the selection, qualification and introduction of new methods and technologies (HW/SW)
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces (production, quality assurance, maintenance, project management, client service) as well as global functions
- Management of projects for process automation, analysis of process data and derivation of technical and organizational improvement measures
- Creation of a strategic roadmap based on internal and external requirements and ensuring compliance with occupational safety, environmental and quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree in IT, process engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in process engineering, preferably in an industrial production environment
- Initial leadership experience or strong leadership skills
- Solid knowledge of software and Lean Management, Six Sigma and experience with tools such as MS Excel, Power BI or similar
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence is desirable
- Experience leading technical projects and working with production management systems
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
