About the role

  • Line and functional management of approximately 8 employees
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of resources (personnel, materials, time) to efficiently implement customer requirements, change requests and new projects
  • Responsibility for the continuous improvement and development of production processes, standards and technologies with a focus on quality, efficiency, cost, sustainability and digitalization
  • Implementation of artificial intelligence in the production environment as part of the company’s digitalization strategy
  • Support and further development of the software and tooling landscape in coordination with IT, as well as the selection, qualification and introduction of new methods and technologies (HW/SW)
  • Close collaboration with internal interfaces (production, quality assurance, maintenance, project management, client service) as well as global functions
  • Management of projects for process automation, analysis of process data and derivation of technical and organizational improvement measures
  • Creation of a strategic roadmap based on internal and external requirements and ensuring compliance with occupational safety, environmental and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, process engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in process engineering, preferably in an industrial production environment
  • Initial leadership experience or strong leadership skills
  • Solid knowledge of software and Lean Management, Six Sigma and experience with tools such as MS Excel, Power BI or similar
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence is desirable
  • Experience leading technical projects and working with production management systems
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
