Perform dynamic simulations for robotic/manual operations and lead simulation engineering activities
Analyze tool designs and product interfaces and recommend improvements to product, process, and tooling
Deliver reports with findings and solutions and manage simulation requests, advising on feasibility
Lead collaborative reviews with engineering teams and ensure simulation outputs meet program timelines
Drive continuous improvement, apply problem-solving tools, and adjust to shifting program and team priorities
Execute virtual builds across the product lifecycle and create/manage build sequences using Siemens Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP)
Lead virtual build events with cross-functional teams and integrate plant layouts and ergonomic data into virtual assessments
Validate new methods and technologies and ensure manufacturing readiness for product launches
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Engineering or other relevant degree
2+ years in dynamic simulation (e.g., Process Simulate)
Knowledge of General Assembly processes and launch support
Experience with automotive assembly process analysis in Body Assembly or General Assembly
Basic programming knowledge using tools like Python, C#, VBA, or DBX Proficiency
Proficiency in Process Simulate / Tecnomatix, Teamcenter (TcVis, MPP), VisMockup, NX, Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Power BI / Power Query, Power Automate
Ability to report to Warren, MI three times per week (hybrid work arrangement)
Ability to adjust work schedule to meet the needs of a global team
