About the role
- Safety Protocol Development: Partner with design engineering on development and implementation of comprehensive LOTO procedures for wind turbine operations
- Engineering Support: Provide technical support for services technicians during maintenance and repair operations of wind turbine systems
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards related to wind turbine maintenance
- Training and Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on safety protocols within the engineering team
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate documentation of latest LOTO procedures
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to wind energy and safety management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering within the energy sector, with a focus on safety protocols
- Experience in developing LOTO procedures and safety management systems is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) preferred
