Mechanical Engineer

• Lead diverse teams as well contribute individually at a intermediate expertise level in the development and application of advanced technology solutions to GE Vernova products and services using analytics, modeling, simulations and advanced testing methods
• Validate performance of developed solutions through simulations, lab-scale and full prototype scale testing
• Document technology and results through patent applications, technical reports, and publications
• Ensure that solutions adopted are both technically appropriate and that GE Vernova has freedom to utilize these solutions
• Transfer technology to engineering teams in GE Vernova to be included in next generation products and services
• Stay current with advances in system technologies to seek out new ideas and applications
• Work in a team environment with colleagues across GE Vernova including other GE Grid Solutions businesses, Advanced Research Center and partners from industry, academia, and government agencies
