About the role
- Lead teams and engage in complex planning and application responsibilities to design or modify tasks, work environment, and plant interfaces
- Apply in-depth specialized knowledge in Human Factors Engineering to technical strategy and planning
- Develop, mentor, and conduct the overall HFE program plan
- Ensure the delivery of on-time, quality engineering documentation
- Represent HFE concerns with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze problems, develop solutions, and make decisions on complex tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent 4-year degree in a related technical discipline
- Minimum 4 years of human factors experience in the nuclear industry
- M.S. or PhD Degree in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Registered Professional Engineer in the United States or Canada
- 10+ years’ experience in the nuclear industry desirable
- Experience with nuclear operations as a licensed/certified reactor operator desirable
