About the role

  • Support and sell complex technical products and solutions in the field of nuclear medicine systems
  • Collaborate with account managers
  • Advise customers on technical and clinical questions
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Manage and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine
  • Develop technical concepts for new projects
  • Ensure order and configuration quality
  • Coordinate quotations and prepare responses to pricing requests
  • Support reference sites
  • Develop customer-specific strategies and plans
  • Organize product demonstrations and conduct market analyses

Requirements

  • Completed clinical or technical training — e.g., MTA or MTRA, or a degree in biomedical engineering, business administration, or engineering
  • Proven experience selling consultative, complex technical solutions
  • Experience negotiating in a complex sales environment with multiple decision-makers
  • Demonstrable strategic sales skills, including customer presentations, price quotations, product demonstrations, negotiations, closings, and building a sales territory
  • Experience selling high-value capital equipment in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sectors
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays depending on geographic and business requirements, and to attend sales meetings and trade shows
  • Enthusiasm and strong passion for technical products and a solid technical understanding
  • Excellent presentation skills, persuasiveness, and strong communication abilities
  • Ability and empathy to explain complex technical issues clearly and understandably to customer decision-makers
  • Willingness to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer focus, including analysis of customer data and development of successful sales solutions
  • Background knowledge in nuclear medicine
  • Solid understanding of trends in the healthcare market
  • Ideally, experience with GE HealthCare products
